A&O Profits Hit £1 Billion in Lead-up to Merger

Allen & Overy’s financial results show that the firm made pre-tax profits of £1 billion in the year before its merger with Shearman & Sterling to form A&O Shearman.

This an increase of over 17.2% on the £892 million profit made by the firm in 2023.
